Link to Our Site!
If you, your family, or any group, school, church, etc. you are involved with has a web page, we invite you to add a link to Friends of Our Troops!
We have received emails asking how to do this. And, remembering how confusing it was to create a link when we first began working on this Web site, this page has been set up:
To set up a text link:
<A HREF="http://www.troopfanmail.net">Military Mail</A>
links to Military Mail;
or:
<A HREF="http://www.troopfanmail.net/">Military Mail / Friends of Our Troops</A>
links to Military Mail / Friends of Our
Troops.
Should you wish to link to a specific page on our site, you may use a page such as:
| "http://www.troopfanmail.net/schools.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/colleges.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/romance.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/veterans.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/youth.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/military.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/album.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/p-airfrc.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/p-army.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/p-cguard.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/p-marine.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/p-navy.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/catholic.htm" "http://www.troopfanmail.net/churches.htm" etc. |
Schools & Education page Colleges & Universities page Romance page Veterans page Youth Groups page Military page Photo Album opening page Air Force photo page Army photo page Coast Guard photo page Marines photo page Navy photo page Catholic page Church page etc. |
A sample text link to the Photo Album: Military Mail / Friends of Our Troops
Graphic link:
If you wish to use the Military Mail/Friends of Our Troops logo as a graphic link:
Download by RIGHT-clicking on the graphic, then saving to your hard drive in the directory and file of your choice, with the file name of your choice (in the example below the graphic was saved as c:\images\militarymail.gif, then uploaded to your web site server as "militarymail.gif" in the "images" folder--again, your file name may be different), the link would be something like the following (you may have to play around with it a little bit, but this should work):
<A HREF="http://www.troopfanmail.net/"><IMG SRC="images/militarymail.gif" WIDTH="124" HEIGHT="82" ALT="Military Mail Logo"></A>
As a demonstration, we have set up a sample graphic link to the Youth page (you may use a different page in the above list, if desired):

Thanks, and if you have any problems, please contact us! (website@troopfanmail.net)
Please use your browser's BACK button to return to the previous page.
Information on how to join the Fan Mail campaign is not sent by email. Please click here.
Also, the Friends of Our Troops office is not able to locate individuals.

In real life, Sarge would have received a package stuffed with fan mail (cards and letters)
to share with his buddies--and even with Beetle!
